It was very dark in the cave. I tried to keep the Lantern lit, but it kept going out. It took a long time to relight it because something always blew it away. I decided to come out of the cave, because I tried in vain. I noticed that people around me have the same problem. They are clutching the lanterns that have gone out and desperately trying to find a way to relight them. 

There must be someone who knows the secret of the light of the eternal Lanterns! 

After a long search, we found a Lantern Lighter. We went to Her, she said she would help us. She began to tell us stories, as if we could hear her voice from billions of light years away, she knew the language of all the Lanterns. The Lantern Lighter was a person of infinite knowledge, she shined with a sparkling glow. I noticed that near her, my Lantern began to flicker. We found the one we were looking for. She said, „If you want your Lantern to burn forever, the only condition is you must keep what I have lit.” „I'll tell you how to do it, you just have to follow what I teach you.” 

Months went by, and I returned to Her in shame, sometimes with my Lantern extinguished, sometimes with a flickering light that was hard to keep. But as I listened to Her, my Lantern burned stronger and stronger. 

I thought, if She can light the Lanterns of so many other people besides Her own, then I cannot give up, this is my only chance to keep my Lantern, which is meaning the Life for me. 

One day I was sitting in my cave with my flickering Lantern. I muttered the prayers to myself. Someone called me. I looked around, but I was all alone. I heard the words again and knew they were speaking to me. Then I looked at the Lantern who said:

- You heard me right, I am speaking to you. – And its light burned quite brightly.

- If you talk to me, if you listen to me, I can help you and you will always see my light.

So that was the secret...
